Take a Class at Three Bags Full

I had never crocheted before, so I showed up at Three Bags Full with a hook, some yarn, and absolutely no idea what I was doing. Thankfully, my instructor Kris was patient, funny, and somehow managed to turn my tangled mess into something that actually looked like crochet!

She made learning fun, explained everything well, and made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed.

Three Bags Full is such a welcoming little place - beautiful yarn everywhere and lots of inspiration. I’d absolutely recommend a class there!

The small class size at Three Bags Full allows for the instructor to spend one on one time with everyone.  You can go away having learned a new skill and the wonderful staff are available to help you after if you get stuck on something.

I've lost track of how many classes I’ve taken at Three Bags Full: socks (cuff down and toe up), shawls, brioche, needle felting, etc. The learnings last well beyond the classroom. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and flexible. I strongly recommend the classes.

In fact, if you’d like to learn something that might be of interest to others too, mention it to the staff. You just might see it added to the schedule!

I’ve taken three classes at TBF. All were worth the drive from Fredericton and back.

I loved that the classes have only 3-4 learners. We each got a lot of individual help.

The instructors were very generous with their time, in one case responding to between-class emails when we ran into difficulties. And each one added some new tricks that you’d not get from the pattern alone. I look forward to doing more classes in future.

I took the Dreyma sweater class with Darlene this past winter. She has so much experience with colourwork sweaters, so I knew I could learn alot from her. We were a group of 3 (with varied experience) and we were able to have one on one time with Darlene if we needed it. She even helped me figure out a way to change the stitch count to suit my body. The class was fun, informative and relaxing!

I’ve taken many classes at Three Bags Full. One of them was the Felted Slipper Class, taught by Anne. This was a fun knitting class. The knitting portion was fast, but you do need to know how, and I remember learning some new techniques, and the felting part happened at the laundromat. Anne helped each of us through the "new to us" parts.
